Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) – March 2027

This is a two day course. Timings are:

  • 9th March: 0900-1700
  • 10th March: 0900-1630

This is £335 + VAT and includes lunch on both days.

This MHFA Adult (16+) Course Covers:

  • Recognise someone experiencing poor mental health & provide support
  • Encourage appropriate professional help and other supports
  • Practise active listening and empathy
  • Have a conversation with improved mental health literacy
  • Discuss boundaries & confidentiality in the MHFAider® role
  • Understand what keeps people well and practice self-care
  • Know how to use the MHFAider Support App®
  • Know how to access a dedicated text service provided by Shout
  • Be aware of MHFA England ongoing learning opportunities
